Our
country club in San Diego never misses an opportunity to deliver fun to its
members. During the end of December, the club organized a dinner on Friday
December 19, 2014, for its members at The Farms San Diego country clubs
premises.
The
holiday dinner was presented in buffet style and held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m. The dinner was meant to bring members together for an informal session
where they could have a good time and get to socialize with one another.
It
was such a refreshing event that brought members from diverse backgrounds. As
usual, the preparation of the dinner was overseen by our executive chef Diane
Allen-Baines. Since The Firms doesn’t normally offer regular dinner hours, this
one was a special opportunity for Diane’s culinary team to showcase their art.
The
team also organized great décor and reception that made all the members who
attended to feel at home. The décor provided a local feel and culture design
that was meant to provide a warn environment for all.
Although
not all members attended the event due to some holiday commitments, the
attendance was quite commendable with over 120 members and guests in attendance.
The
Farms Holiday Dinner was one of the many events that the club organized for its
members in 2014. Other events held at our San Diego country club included tournaments,
wine dinners, cooking classes, holiday bazaar, and gingerbread house making
workshop.
Those
who attended the holiday dinner were very satisfied with their decision. All of
the guests who attended the event had loads of fun. It
also provided an opportunity for guests to try out new delicacies, beverages,
and assortment of other drinks.
There
isn’t a better way to make The Farms Golf Club a great place to be than to
offer a great golfing experience and spice it up with events.
