The Farms Golf Country Club San Diego Cooking Session with Executive Chef Diane Allen-Baines & Staff

At our Farms San Diego Country Clubs, we love to enjoy good moments with our club members. While some other golf clubs in San Diego focus on golfing alone, we rope in a number of other activities that bring friends and families to share memorable moments together. The cooking session with our experienced chef and staff team is one of these activities.

The last cooking session we had was held at our main dining hall on Tuesday November 11, 2014, from 3:00pm and overseen by our Executive Chef Diane Allen-Baines & Staff. The session wasn’t just about being shown how to cook, but practically participating in the cooking process so that participants could learn how to make simple, tasty, and nutritious meals at home.
Some of the meals that participants learned how to make are Horseradish Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Shrimp & Crab Pizza, Italian Fresh Mozzarella & Tomato Skewers, Cranberry Baked Brie, Spiced Walnuts & Almonds, and Pancetta Wrapped Asparagus.

Even with all these activities, our best San Diego private golf courses still stand out as some of the best in San Diego and beyond. Interestingly, the cooking sessions just make the experience of our members more unforgettable.
Well, we draw that from our understanding that not every family member likes playing golf, but at least a good cooking session can bring the entire family into a unit. Our cooking sessions are also interactive, making it possible to get to understand one another even better. It’s also an opportunity to bond with other families and make new friends.

To become a member of our Farms club in San Diego, all you got to do is go through the membership information, register, and you’ll be kept up-to-date on such like activities.

The Farms Golf Country Club San Diego Wine Dinner Was a Great Success

This year’s wine dinner hosted at out country club in San Diego was such an emphatic success. It was a true statement that we’re one of the few golf clubs San Diego that go the extra mile to organize fan filled moments for club members. The event attracted several members and invited guests, presenting a great moment to share light moments and get to know each other.

The wine dinner was held on Friday November 7, 2014, from 6:00pm. The event first kicked off with wine tasting before food stations opened.

The holiday season is with us, and these events do well to make us merry. It’s that time of the year that we look at the things we’ve accomplished during the year and get a reason to celebrate. And as a club that strives to always make its members’ experiences remarkable, we had every reason to organize the wine dinner event.

Although guests were also allowed in the event, they only came as a result of being invited by club members. This was because we take our member’s security seriously. And in extension, only members were allowed to purchase wine.

Besides hosting fan jammed events for our members, we also maintain high standard services and own some of the best San Diego private golf courses. This is because we want our members to have all round golfing experiences that are laced with fan.

Most people who play golf professionally only get little time to socialize with other club members. They get to the club and go straight to business. For such people, an event like our wine dinner is a great avenue to socialize with the rest of the members.

We therefore remain that country club in San Diego that focuses on making every club member’s experience at the club delightful both professionally and socially.
