At our Farms San Diego Country Clubs, we
love to enjoy good moments with our club members. While some other golf clubs
in San Diego focus on golfing alone, we rope in a number of other activities
that bring friends and families to share memorable moments together. The
cooking session with our experienced chef and staff team is one of these
activities.
The last cooking session we had was held at
our main dining hall on Tuesday November 11, 2014, from 3:00pm and overseen by
our Executive Chef Diane Allen-Baines & Staff. The session wasn’t just
about being shown how to cook, but practically participating in the cooking
process so that participants could learn how to make simple, tasty, and
nutritious meals at home.
Some of the meals that participants learned
how to make are Horseradish Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Shrimp & Crab Pizza, Italian
Fresh Mozzarella & Tomato Skewers, Cranberry Baked Brie, Spiced Walnuts
& Almonds, and Pancetta Wrapped Asparagus.
Even with all these activities, our best
San Diego private golf courses still stand out as some of the best in
San Diego and beyond. Interestingly, the cooking sessions just make the
experience of our members more unforgettable.
Well, we draw that from our understanding
that not every family member likes playing golf, but at least a good cooking
session can bring the entire family into a unit. Our cooking sessions are also
interactive, making it possible to get to understand one another even better.
It’s also an opportunity to bond with other families and make new friends.
To become a member of our Farms club in San
Diego, all you got to do is go through the membership information, register,
and you’ll be kept up-to-date on such like activities.
